Georgia Zumwalt – Commercial Photography: From Local to Global
November 8 @ 8:00 am - 10:00 am
As a professional photographer, you must have many photographic superpowers—and properly photographing products for business is one of them. Georgia will teach you multi strobe lighting techniques that will make your client’s product stand out, and then she’ll delve into the editing process. In this class you will also learn quick and simple Photoshop techniques that create powerful visual impact. Whether your client is a local or global business, you’ll learn what’s needed to provide an impressive photographic product and keep those commercial clients returning to your studio.
Georgia P Zumwalt holds the prestigious Professional Photographers of America (PPA) Master of Photography degree, is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer, photographic educator, and a member of the elite American Society of Photographers (ASP). Georgia has had a camera attached to one hand and a coffee cup attached to the other for over 30 years. She began her professional photography career in the late 1980’s. One of her first professional jobs as a commercial photographer was for the California Optometric Association. She was asked to photograph Folsom Prison (yep, the same one Johnny Cash sang about) for a story about the prisoners’ role in eyeglass production. Her commercial work has been used globally by the National Audubon Society, Estée Lauder, Kubota, Fleishman Hillard and many more. In addition, over the years she has had the privilege of capturing thousands of smiles–creating cherished photographic heirlooms for her portrait and wedding clients.
