Della Watters – Learning to become a flexible wedding photographer
July 26, 2020 @ 3:15 pm - 5:30 pm
A wedding photographer must be flexible to adapt to a variety of unexpected situations on the wedding day and think on the fly. Rarely does a wedding day ever happen as smoothly as mapped out on paper. Unexpected delays, family tension, or even a stressed bride can add to the need to adapt everything that was previously planned. We do much more than take pictures on the wedding day, and our couples depend on our calm demeanor to get them through the day. Learn to help your couple schedule their wedding day logistics to adequately allow time for photos and add some wiggle room for unforeseen circumstances.
Della Watters is the owner of WattersWorks & Company from Bedford County, PA. She is a PPA Certified Professional Photographer and specializes in weddings, events and family portraits working closely with a nearby four star resort.
Della serves on the Board of Governors for Pennsylvania PPA as secretary and is a member of the print competition committee. She was a Grand Imaging Award wedding finalist for 2020 as well as a bronze medal winner for IPC.
Multi-generational, multi-family portraits are her favorite to photograph as a profession. In her free time, she enjoys photographing butterflies, wildlife and sunsets on the family 100 acre farm.
