Theory & Fundamentals
Begin with a comprehensive indoor session focused on the essential principles of drone operation. Participants will learn flight basics, safety protocols, airspace regulations, and an introduction to drone controls and settings. This foundational segment is designed to build confidence and ensure a solid understanding before taking flight.

Instructor:

Robert S. Becker, CPP, M.Photog. is a professional photographer and media creator based in Nazareth, Pennsylvania, serving the Lehigh Valley and surrounding region. He is the founder of RSB Photo Media, which provides photography, video, audio, and aerial imaging services for businesses, organizations, and professionals seeking effective visual communications. His personal photography work is featured through RS Becker Photography, with an emphasis on portraits, nature, travel, and fine-art imagery.

Robert has been a member of Professional Photographers of America since 2019 and is also a member of the American Society of Photographers. He is a Certified Professional Photographer and holds the Master of Photography degree through PPA. He previously served as President of the Lehigh Valley Photography Club, where he helped guide member education, programming, and organizational growth. In addition to his photographic work, Robert brings extensive executive, consulting, and business development experience from the biotechnology and life sciences industries. With this experience, Robert hopes to contribute to PPA of PA’s efforts in member engagement, professional education, marketing, communications, and organizational development.
