About Program
Some people think failure is not an option … so they don’t even try. The fear of failure stops many people in their tracks, rendering them immobile, which ultimately keeps them from succeeding.
Entering images for review and photographic competition may seem like a daunting task to those who have never tried it. Unfortunately, many photographers are too afraid to attempt it. For those who do, it sets them on a path that leads to improved skills, more earning capacity and better recognition through branding and marketing purposes. It’s not about winning. It’s about getting better at the craft. PPA’s Merit Image Review and state photographic competitions are some of the best educational tools available in the photography industry!
During this program, Kristy Steeves, a PPA approved juror, will share all of her non-merited images with you and explain how each one helped her grow into the photographer she is today. Kristy’s goal is to inspire and motivate you to reach your potential through a perspective shift. Did you know that failure is not the opposite of success? It is PART of success in everything we do!
Let’s embrace failure as part of our photographic journey. It is the catalyst to learning, growing and succeeding!
